The GoodWe ESA is a fully integrated all in one system: hybrid inverter, stackable LFP battery modules and the switching gear come prewired in one slim IP66 cabinet, so there is less wall clutter and a faster, cleaner install. Paired with a 13.3kW array of 475W Trina Vertex S+ panels, it is a serious whole home setup with UPS grade backup available, designed, installed and commissioned by the licensed contractor. We install from our Nambour workshop across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.

Conditions & what may be extra
- Final system size, battery capacity and inverter model are confirmed from clear photos of your site, or at a design visit if one is needed
- Quoted after eligible STC and battery rebates; eligibility and the final rebate value depend on your system, zone and situation
- Switchboard or RCBO upgrades are extra if required
- Nonstandard roofs, tilt frames, difficult access or additional cabling are extra
- DNSP / export limitation works are extra if required (13.3kW arrays are subject to network approval and may be export limited)
- Whole home backup depends on switchboard condition, circuits and load assessment; backup wiring is quoted per site

What is the GoodWe ESA, in plain English?
It is GoodWe's all in one home energy system: the hybrid inverter, the battery modules and the switching gear come prewired in a single slim cabinet. Instead of a separate inverter on the wall plus a battery tower beside it, you get one clean unit, which usually means a faster install and a tidier garage or wall.
How big can the battery go?
The ESA stacks 5kWh and 8kWh LFP modules up to 48kWh in a single stack, and stacks can be paralleled beyond that. We size the battery to your actual usage, from your bill and clear photos or at a design visit if one is needed, rather than selling you the biggest stack a rebate allows.
Does it do blackout backup?
Yes, the ESA supports whole home backup at up to 63A with UPS level switchover, so the lights barely flicker when the grid drops. Whether whole home or essential circuits backup makes sense for your place depends on your switchboard and loads, which we assess before quoting.
Why pair it with 13.3kW of solar?
A 13.3kW array of 28 x 475W Trina Vertex S+ panels on a roughly 10kW hybrid is the classic maximum value configuration: it fills the battery earlier in the day, covers more winter and cloudy day generation, and stays within the standard oversizing rules. Network approval and export limits are confirmed as part of your quote.
Is it rebate eligible?
Yes. The ESA is CEC approved and installs are signed off by our SAA accredited installer, so eligible solar STCs and the federal battery rebate are applied up front in your written quote. Rebate values change over time, and the value that applies is the one in force when your system is installed and commissioned.
What warranties come with it?
GoodWe covers the ESA with a 10 year manufacturer warranty, the Trina Vertex S+ panels carry a 25 year product and 30 year performance warranty, and our installation work is covered by our lifetime workmanship warranty (conditions apply, see our Terms). If you sell the home, that workmanship warranty can transfer once to the new owner for 10 years from completion, provided they let us know in writing within 60 days of settlement.
