Big roofs, big blocks, big trees

Buderim's established plateau homes from the 1970s and 80s sit on generous blocks under the canopy that makes the suburb what it is. For solar that means designing around real shade: we walk the roof and map where the trees fall through the day rather than trusting a satellite photo, then choose the panel layout, string design and inverter accordingly. For the rest of the house it means switchboards from before safety switches were mandatory, pool pumps and outdoor circuits that have seen decades of weather, and ducted air conditioning that often needs its own supply sorted.

The $199 safety check is a sensible first step before buying or renovating an older Buderim home: it tells you exactly what the board and key circuits need, in writing, so the electrical work goes into the budget rather than arriving as a surprise mid build.
