28kWh Fox ESS Battery, 15kW Hybrid + 22kW EV Charger
The complete home energy package in one garage. A 28kWh Fox ESS CQ7 battery stack, a 15kW Fox ESS H3 three phase hybrid inverter and a 22kW three phase EV charger, all installed, labelled and commissioned as one clean system.
This garage holds the three parts of a complete home energy system on one wall run: a Fox ESS CQ7 battery stack rated at 28kWh, a 15kW Fox ESS H3 three phase hybrid inverter above it, and a 22kW three phase Fox ESS EV charger at the far end. The inverter and its isolators sit at working height with the battery stack on the floor beneath, guarded by a bollard so a car door or a bumper can never reach it, and the charger is mounted where the car parks so the tethered lead reaches without crossing the floor.
Everything between the three units runs in surface duct along the wall, which is deliberate. It keeps the cabling inspectable, keeps the garage tidy, and means a future change, another battery module or a second charger, is a matter of opening the duct rather than chasing walls. The battery carries the required hazard and shutdown signage, every isolator is labelled, and the whole system was tested and commissioned together before handover.
Three phase is the point of this build. The H3 hybrid works across all three phases rather than loading one, and the 22kW charger can draw on the full three phase supply whenever the car accepts it, so the battery, the house and the car are all served by the one system. Installed and commissioned by the Nuvolt team in July 2026.
