Sigenergy SigenStor 29.9kW Three Phase with a Full 54kWh Stack

Sigenergy build the most integrated system on this page. The SigenStor is one stack that holds the 29.9kW three-phase inverter, the battery modules, the energy management system and, if you want it, a DC EV charger that fast-charges the car straight off the battery without ever converting to AC. A full six-module tower is 54.24kWh, the largest single stack of the four systems we install, and it is built on 314Ah cells rated for 10,000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge.

What's included

Our headline Sigenergy three-phase build. Every part of it is sized to your site before we quote.

  • Sigenergy SigenStor 29.9kW three-phase energy controller
  • Six Sigen Battery 10.0 modules, 54.24kWh total and 52.56kWh usable
  • Solar array sized to your roof, up to 48kW of Trina Vertex S+ 475W panels
  • Backup power designed around your switchboard, with the Sigen Energy Gateway if you want the whole board covered
  • Optional integrated DC EV charger, sized and quoted with the rest of the system
  • 10-year manufacturer warranty
  • 25-year product warranty, 30-year performance warranty on the panels
  • Full system design, network connection application and commissioning
  • Installed by a licensed electrical contractor with SAA solar and battery accreditation
  • Eligible STC and federal battery rebates applied up front in your written quote
  • Lifetime workmanship warranty on our installation (conditions apply, see our Terms)

Who this size is for

  • Big three-phase homes that want the most storage available in one tower
  • EV households: the optional DC charger runs straight off the battery, skipping the conversion losses of an ordinary AC wallbox
  • Anyone who wants the fewest separate boxes on the wall, since the inverter, battery, EV charger and controls are one product
  • Heavy daily cyclers, because 10,000 cycles at full depth of discharge is the longest-rated cell on this page

Conditions & what may be extra

  • Final system size, battery capacity and inverter model are confirmed at the site assessment
  • Three-phase supply required. If the property is single phase today, a supply upgrade is a separate job and is quoted separately
  • Network connection approval is required before installation. At this capacity the network will usually apply an export limit, which we confirm in writing as part of your quote
  • Switchboard upgrades, metering changes and main-supply upgrades are extra if required
  • Roof structure, access, tilt frames and long cable runs are assessed and quoted per site
  • Quoted after eligible STC and federal battery rebates; eligibility and the final rebate value depend on your system, zone and situation
  • Manufacturer warranties require the system to be registered with the manufacturer at commissioning, which we do for you
  • The 0ms changeover figure is the load-side disruption time and needs the Sigen Energy Gateway fitted alongside the controller and battery. Without the gateway the system still backs up, it just is not a 0ms changeover, and we will tell you which one you are buying
  • A full six-module tower is 54.24kWh, which is above the 50kWh ceiling where the federal battery rebate stops counting. The capacity above that line is real, it simply earns no rebate, and your quote shows exactly where the line falls
  • The tower is floor standing and a full six-module stack is around 506kg. We check the location and the floor on site
  • The DC EV charger mounts into the tower and shares its space, so the battery size and the charger are designed together rather than both maxed out

Approved for the rebate, and here is the entry

SigenStor-30T-54.24 (AS4777-2 2020) is listed on the Clean Energy Council's approved inverter list, approved 16 April 2026 and current to 31 December 2027. That listing is what makes the system eligible for solar STCs and the federal battery rebate, alongside sign-off by our SAA accredited installer.

Work it out yourself

Is this the right size for your place?

Put your own daily usage in and see how much of it a system covers, hour by hour. In kilowatt hours, not sales talk. A system this size is a lot for most homes, and the calculator will tell you so.

FAQ

Three Phase Questions

Straight answers on the sizing, the network limits, backup and the rebates, from the licensed contractor doing the work.

What does 5-in-1 actually mean?

That one product does the job of five. The SigenStor tower contains the solar inverter, the battery, the battery power conversion system, the energy management brain and, optionally, a DC EV charger. On a conventional install those are separate boxes from separate makers that have to be persuaded to talk to each other. Here they ship as one system with one app and one warranty, which is fewer things to go wrong and a much tidier wall.

How is a DC EV charger different from a normal wallbox?

An ordinary wallbox takes AC from your switchboard, and the car's onboard charger converts it back to DC to fill the battery. If that power came from your home battery it has already been converted DC to AC once, so you pay a conversion penalty twice. Sigenergy's charger sits inside the tower on the DC side and feeds the car directly, which is both quicker and less wasteful. It is an optional extra and we size it with the battery, because the charger and the modules share the same tower.

Is 54kWh too much battery?

For most homes, yes, and we will say so. It is the right size for a big three-phase property with real load: ducted air conditioning, a pool, a workshop, two EVs, or a business running through the day. The honest caveat is that the federal battery rebate stops counting at 50kWh, so the sixth module earns no rebate. Five modules is 45.2kWh and sits under the line. We will show you both in your quote and let you decide, rather than defaulting you to the biggest tower on the shelf.

What does 10,000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge mean for me?

It means you can use all of it, every day, for a long time. Depth of discharge is how much of the nameplate capacity you are allowed to actually use, and 100% means 54.24kWh of battery gives you 52.56kWh usable rather than holding a chunk in reserve. Cycle life is how many full charge and discharge rounds the cells are rated for. At one cycle a day, 10,000 cycles is well over twenty years of daily use. Sigenergy warrant the system for 10 years.

Will it really switch over in 0 milliseconds?

With the Sigen Energy Gateway fitted, yes, that is the figure on Sigenergy's own datasheet for load-side disruption. Without the gateway you still get backup, but not a 0ms changeover. We would rather tell you that up front than let you find out during the first blackout, so your quote states which arrangement you are buying and what it will actually do.

Is it rebate eligible?

Yes. SigenStor-30T-54.24 is on the Clean Energy Council's approved inverter list, approved 16 April 2026 and current to 31 December 2027, and our installs are signed off by our SAA accredited installer. Eligible solar STCs and the federal battery rebate are applied up front in your written quote, with the 50kWh battery ceiling shown honestly.

How does it compare to the others you install?

It is the most integrated and it holds the most storage in one tower, and it is the only one of the four with a DC EV charger option. The GoodWe is the other single-tower system and its whole-home backup is built in rather than needing a gateway. The Fox ESS separates the inverter from the battery stacks, which suits an awkward layout. The Sungrow is a smaller inverter but the most corrosion-resistant, which matters close to the beach. Tell us your site and we will tell you which one we would put in.

This is the big end of our range, and we install all four. If it is more than you need, the residential packages are the same quality of install at a size that suits an ordinary home.
