Are you actually based in Caloundra?
Yes. Our workshop is at 19/20 Brookes Street in Nambour and our second base is in the new Aura precinct at Caloundra South, so Caloundra jobs are covered from a few minutes away rather than from the other end of the Coast. That is why faults and small jobs here are usually same-day.
My house in Aura or Baringa is only a few years old. What would I need an electrician for?
The board is fine, so the jobs are additions: a battery on the solar the builder put in, an EV charger in the garage, extra circuits for a shed, a pool or a granny flat, ceiling fans, and air conditioning wired on its own circuit. We do all of that in the estates every week, and photos of your switchboard are usually enough for a fixed price.
Is salt air a real problem for homes near Golden Beach and Kings Beach?
Yes, and it is the single most common thing we find on the older streets. Salt corrodes switchboard terminals, outdoor isolators and air conditioner connections far faster than a few kilometres inland, and corroded connections are behind a lot of nuisance tripping near the water. It is one of the main things the $199 safety check is looking for.
Do you install solar and batteries in Caloundra?
Yes. We are SAA accredited for both solar and battery systems, we size the system to a recent bill rather than to the biggest array the roof will take, and we lodge the solar certificate and federal battery discount paperwork for you. Near the beach we pay extra attention to mounting, isolator choice and where the inverter and battery sit.
Can you come out for an emergency fault in Caloundra?
Yes. Caloundra is well inside our callout radius and close to our Aura base. Ring 0425 547 520 at any time, tell us what is happening, and we will say straight whether it needs us now, Energex, or a booking in the morning. Callouts are by appointment, subject to availability, with a fixed price before any work starts.
Do you handle air conditioning in Nirimba and the new estates?
Yes. We supply and install split systems and multi-head systems, and we wire the dedicated circuit and isolator they need, which is the part the builder usually left out. In the newer estates it is one of the most common jobs we do alongside batteries and EV chargers.
