When we fit solar or a battery on a canal home we choose enclosure ratings and mounting positions for the salt, not for convenience, even if it means running a little more cable to a sheltered wall.

Do you cover all of Kawana or just part of it?
All of it. Buddina, Minyama, Parrearra and Kawana Island, Warana, Bokarina, Birtinya and Wurtulla are one run for us, about 25 minutes from our Nambour workshop, so faults and small jobs are usually same-day or next-day.
Is a canal-front home harder to fit a battery or solar to?
Not harder, but the salt changes what we install and where. Enclosure ratings, isolator choice and keeping the inverter and battery off the worst-exposed wall all matter more beside the water. We would rather run a little more cable to a sheltered spot than mount gear where the salt eats it.
Can you sort power to a pontoon or jetty?
Yes. Pontoon and jetty supply is a regular job on the Kawana canals, and it has to be done with the right protection and hardware to stay safe near salt water. We inspect what is there and quote it fixed-price.
My Warana house still has its original switchboard. Where do I start?
