What is structured data cabling and do I need it?
Structured cabling is a tidy, planned network of data cables run from a central point out to outlets around your home or business. It is worth it if you want reliable wired connections for computers, TVs, cameras or a busy office, rather than relying on Wi-Fi alone. We assess your layout and recommend what suits the property.
Should I use Cat6 cable?
Cat6 is a sensible choice for most homes and businesses and is what we typically install for new data points. It gives you headroom for current and future wired devices. We will confirm the right option for your situation when we quote, based on how you use the space.
Can you add extra data or phone points to an existing home?
Yes. We run new data and phone points into existing rooms, threading the cable through walls and ceilings where we can and finishing each point neatly at the wall plate. We assess access on-site first so you know exactly what is involved before any work starts.
Can you add TV or antenna points where I want them?
